Danny Trejo In Machete
The trailer certainly sports an amazing cast. Danny Trejo, Robert Deniro, Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Alba, Cheech Marin, Don Johnson and numerous others. Very interested in seeing how this film plays out.
Megan Fox Says She Quit Transformers 3

Transformers Actress Megan Fox
As you may know yesterday we posted the story about the gorgeous Megan Fox being fired from Transformers 3 by super director Michael Bay.
Well now Megan is trying to tranform (Pun TOTALLY intended!) the rumor into fact by having her reps state that the 24 year old actress who found her real fame and popularity from the Transformers movies was not actually fired! Instead they are saying that the actress QUIT!
I don’t know let me see, you apparently liken your boss to being a Napolean or Hitler and then think you’re still going to have a job? I don’t know. It seems like sort of a stretch even to me! Not to mention that to date Transformers is the ONLY films the actress has been in that has seen any notable success. Maybe if she’d really gotten naked and let us get a good look box office sales might have been better. It worked for Cindy Crawford (Fair Game 1995)

Photo not Particularly relevant to the story but Megan Fox looks incredible
But no matter, it is rumored that Michael Bay is casting a new love interest for Shia LaBeouf character of Sam Witwicki, and that actress is rumored to be Gemma Arterton, of St. Trinian, and Quantum Of Solace fame! No mud slinging on our part but Megan Fox is so way hotter!
Transformers 3 is scheduled for a July 2011 release!
Iron Man 2 – Review
2
Iron Man Suiting Up For Action
OK, so I gathered up mom and met Ginger Duncan at the Burbank IMAX to check out a media screening of Iron Man 2 and I will say what a great time! Director Jon Favreau certainly does not disappoint! It’s really odd realizing that he was also one of the football (“The red shirts, this shit’s confusing man!”) players in The Replacements with Keanu Reeves and Gene Hackman.

Whiplash - Mickey Rourke
Back of course are all the favorites well almost all of them. Robert Downey Jr. of course reprises his roll as Tony Stark/Iron Man, and Gwyneth Paltrow who I think should become my baby mama once again takes center stage as Stark’s wifey like assistant Pepper Potts. Joining the team is Don Cheadle as Lt. Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes, Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury. And lest we forget the introduction of the INCREDIBLY gorgeous Scarlet Johansson as Black Widow. Mickey Rourke does phenominal as Whiplash. Sam Rockwell also appears in this second installment as Justin Hammer C.E.O. of Stark Industries competition Hammer Industries!

Scarlet Johansson as Black Widow
This installment was very much in keeping with some of the events of Iron Man in the mid to late 1980′s, and a lot more preparations for upcoming franchises such as well Captain America. If you didn’t find the shield in the first one look at the disassembly sequence in Iron Man; left side of the screen. This appearance of the shield was vastly more blatant, and comedic actually.

Face Off Between Iron Man and War Machine
The battle sequences are pretty incredible as well. I must say seeing it in IMAX was certainly almost like being in the action. At least from where we were sitting! But never the less, Iron Man 2 is a thrill ride and more than delivers on the hype. My question is of course when is 3 going to start shooting?

Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts
One thing I certainly appreciated was the levity. Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow have some great comedic timing and an insane chemistry. If we didn’t know better would would guess they’d been married to each other for YEARS. All in all I give Iron Man 2 a big green Light! It’s certainly worth the watch!

SALT – Angelina Jolie
1

Angelina Jolie as Evelyn Salt on the run
In Columbia Picture’s upcoming summer blockbuster Salt, Angelina Jolie will once again blast onto screens all over America in yet another bad ass role! But first some information!
Before becoming a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt swore an oath to duty, honor, and country. She will prove loyal to these when a defector accuses her of being a Russian sleeper spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture, protect her husband, and stay one step ahead of her colleagues at the CIA.
How many more of these types of movies does Angelina Jolie have to do to convince us that she is very possibly the best and ONLY female action hero! Jolie’s Tomb Raider Lara Croft roll put her on the map as a viable action star. Mr. and Mrs. Smith solidified her action flick bankability! Wanted just really put it back in our minds, and now we have Salt!
It is odd how what was once a boys only club has actually accepted Jolie in, and studios continue to bank on her name, and stage presence to sell tickets and she does. Even when playing an FBI agent profiler in the movie Taking Lives we believed her to be a smart, bad ass female! Studios know that regardless of if she’s freely exposing those incredible home grown mammaries as she’s been known to do a time or two (Gia, Taking Lives – EXTREMELY HOT SCENE); put Angelina Jolie’s name up on the cast list and both men and women will file in to pay their $12.00 to see this woman in action!
What’s next for Jolie after Salt? Well we hear that Wanted 2 is in the works. I for one am interested to see how someone survives a bullet to the temple! OK the reality of it is that I hope there is another bath scene, oh yeah, and to watch her kick ass!
Iron Man 2: Gwyneth Paltrow
1

Gweneth Paltrow - Pepper Potts Iron Man 2
In reprising her role as Pepper Potts in “Iron Man 2,” Gwyneth Paltrow found more demands in terms of plot and also onscreen with leading man Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark/Iron Man).
“The secret weapon of the franchise is the chemistry between Robert and Gwyneth,” revealed Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige in the film’s production notes. “When you give the script pages to them and they start rehearsing, you sort of tuck the pages away and just watch what they start doing. It’s so honest and real.”
We know the connection between Potts and Stark, her boss, is anything but strictly business, but the boundaries of their relationship were not clearly defined by the time credits rolled in “Iron Man.”
“The charged dynamic between them works and that’s what we wanted to continue,” said Feige. “At the end of the first film, Tony starts to reference that night they almost kissed and Pepper says… ‘Let’s not talk about it.’ They still haven’t talked about it six months later, but it’s influenced their interactions with one another.”
Paltrow added, “she tries not to be reactive and steer [Stark] in the right direction. She’s really like the great woman behind the man.”
One aspect of the sequel’s story will see their evolving relationship get put to the test with the addition of Natalie Rushman (Black Widow), played by Scarlet Johansson.
“It’s great to have another female character in the film because it adds a whole other layer in terms of Tony and Pepper,” noted Paltrow. “It makes it really fun to play and we’re very fortunate to have Scarlett in the film because she’s a really great actress.”
