Is It Bad For a Mother To LIP Kiss Her Grown Son?

Quincy Jones Porter Lip Kisses his Mother Kim Porter
On mother’s day, Quincy Jones Porter son of 80′s recording artist Al B. Sure posted an image of him kissing his mother Kim Porter on the lips. The question this raises is one of appropriateness. We are certainly wondering where people weigh in on this subject. It’s not like he slipped her the tongue or anything.
As a mother of twin boys and girls we are very affectionate and it now makes me wonder how we are perceived by the outside world. There are always hugs and kisses in our house before any of us leave the home; and not in the forced this is expected sort of thing but it’s been a natural thing in our home.
In many cultures, outside of the ultra right wing conservative America this is a form of greeting and affection among both men and women. I guess the REAL question is, “Who are we to judge what goes on in someone elses family?”
Needless to say Quincy took a lot of heat for it, and posted his response. You can read his response to the criticism HERE! Your comments are as always welcome! Let’s discuss this! I am wondering if we should make this into a poll.
