A&E‘s dramatic series THE GLADES follows Jim Longworth, an attractive, brilliant, yet hard to get along with homicide detective from Chicago who gets shot by his captain after being wrongfully accused of sleeping with his wife.
After being exiled from the department, Longworth relocates to the sleepy, middle of nowhere town of Palm Glade, Florida, where the sunshine and golf are plentiful and crime is seemingly at a minimum. Only this town outside the Florida Everglades isn’t quite as idyllic as he thought, as he finds people keep turning up murdered. Each case pulls Longworth off the golf course and reluctantly into his element as one of the sharpest homicide detectives to wear a badge.
Between practicing his short game, trying to get a date with Callie – a quick-witted, beautiful medical student with a 12 year-old son and a husband in prison – and trying to solve countless homicide cases, Longworth’s transition to his new surroundings is a bit more difficult than expected.
He’s realizing the skies in this new town are always sunny…with a chance of homicide.

Had a wonderful shoot today with a bevy of incredibly gorgeous ladies. My morning started with Melissa Anfusco, Monica Goe, Kama Perry, Jennifer Best, and Amy Asmuth. What incredible shoots they brought to the table. Next Vanessa White arrived along with Licci Rodgriguez and Jennifer Best. Then Vedra Murray arrived for her shoot. By now the day became a huge blur for me.
I was short a model and as Amy Asmuth was leaving she made a phone call, and it really seemed as if magically the incredibly gorgeous Jolene McGinnis who delivered an incredible shoot for her first time appeared. Then again maybe it had something to do with the car she got to shoot with. There was an INCREDIBLE shoot with motorcycle drag racer Erika Allison and Jennifer Best! Wait til you see the shots and posters.
There was so much going on that I almost lost my mind. Things got so crazy and started moving so fast. I am so thankful for my incredible team. Octavio Flores, Todd Wellman, and my incredible Make-Up and Hair Artists Tricia James and Christi Bell. Dane Collins who is a most incredible shade maker, and Efren Pena’ who ran video for me all day.
Also want to thank Juan Resendiz and the drivers and cars from Xplizit Car Club! Also Alex Wong, and Daniel Trujillo Jr. for bringing KITT and KARR to the set!

LeBron James announces his signing with the Miami Heat
New York Knicks fans were disappointed to hear that LeBron James will officially join the Miami Heat next season, but it’s his loss. Here is the list of the top ten things he missed out on:
1. LeBron was offered his very own key to the city upon signing with the Knicks. Now he will just be like every other tourist when he comes to the Big Apple.
2. SCORES offered LeBron free lap dances for life and a dedicated “LeBron James Day” where the girls wear his jersey instead of their “gowns” before dancing. Enough said.
3. Donald Trump offered be LeBron’s personal escort around the city upon his arrival. Now Trump says “You’re Fired” to the basketball star.
4. Bob Bertrand, President of The Original SoupMan, offered LeBron James free soup for life if he moved to New York, AND to forgo the strict, infamous rules when ordering. Now that he’s in Miami, sorry LeBron, NO SOUP FOR YOU!
5. The Classic Car Club Manhattan offered LeBron an annual membership worth $10,000 that would let him drive all over town in a Lamborghini or Ferrari. I guess he didn’t want to be stuck in New York traffic.
6. Bliss Spa wanted LeBron to feel pampered while he wasn’t on the basketball court. They offered unlimited complimentary spa treatments. Now who will help him relax?
7. He was offered a lifetime pass to ride the iconic double-decker tour busses compliments of CitySights New York. Now who will show him the sites when he comes here to play?
8. The chief cook of Smoke in Da Eye offered LeBron unlimited barbecue for life. He will have to go hungry.
9. Moishe’s Moving and Storage filled a storage unit with gifts to lure LeBron to New York.
10. LeBron was offered a part in “Chicago,” at the Ambassador Theater, courtesy of producers. Maybe LeBron wasn’t cut out for Broadway after all.
Well, LeBron – I guess enjoy Miami. Hope you at least get your championship!

Although Luther Vandross was an accomplished songwriter who penned songs for himself and artists like Aretha Franklin, he was also loved for his ability to reinterpret songs that we all knew and loved.
This talent put him in a league with singers like Frank Sinatra and Isaac Hayes who were loved for their ability to make you think that they were the first person to sing those songs.

While planning went on for shooting with Mee Mee B in her first ever shoot for High Speed Magazine some incredible opportunities cropped up. As you may know last year we had the wonderful opportunity to shoot with K.I.T.T from Knight Rider.
Well this year I decided to up the ante’ and we were able to get the Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo! Mee Mee did great in her shoot, and we got some pretty fun quips in.
