Octavio Flores (The car chief) is the person who works closely with the team owner and crew chief in figuring out setups for the set, car model and overall shoot, but is the actual guy who makes sure it gets done. That allows the crew chief and team owner more time to work on a computer or look through notes to figure out better setups.

The car chief also shoos away onlookers who don’t need to be on set when we get to the nudie type shots. He also has been known to go on random coffee runs and makes sure that things on set run smoothly. All other set support personnel report to the car chief.

While Octavio Flores’ role for High Speed Magazine is often in a support capacity he is a very talented photographer and videographer with his own photography company.
