Playboy Playmate Elke Jiensen

Elke Jeinsen grew up in Hanover, Germany. In Elke won the title of Miss Hanover and went on to be first runner-up to Miss Germany. A week later she was contacted by Playboy to be a Playmate. After some hesitation she became Playboy Germany’s Miss October 1986. Elke then started modeling worldwide.

In 1992 Elke was modeling for a German sportswear company doing a shoot in the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. Having some free time afterwards, she went to Los Angeles for a week and found an agent who sent her to playboy to do a test shoot. Before the shoot was even over, photo editor Marilyn Grabowski came in and said, “Congratulations, you’re a playmate.” As Miss May 1993, Elke was the first to be published in all 19 editions of Playboy worldwide.

Elke traveled between the U.S. and Europe until 1995 when she moved to Los Angeles and put all her energy into acting. She landed her first big part on Baywatch where she continued to make guest appearances for two years before becoming a regular.
